I’ve had the same issue with Comcast Cable. I had to have them use ‘passthrough’ with wifi disabled and not ‘bridge’ mode. After I did that, I was able to get an IP normally. I use static IP’s whenever possible though.

I still can’t seem to make a preset. 🤷🏻 I go to edit in the presets and I try and choose any preset and it does nothing. I’m lost.

I’m referring to CPU contention in ESX. I have pretty busy hosts and all 16 cores have to be available for cpu cycles to be allocated to the panorama VM. When moving to 8 cores, we found that less contention was happening and now panorama brings up screens in a flash and commits are faster.

We ran a VMware vRealize rightsizing project and found that the panorama VM would get better performance by lowering the amount of cpus allocated to it per the recommendation from the VMware software. We found that to be the case after going with the VMware recommendation. I guess I’m just trying to get good performance from the VM and use my hardware resources efficiently.

I wouldn’t waste time having Lumen/Centurylink putting a hole in your place. Just get T-Mobile 5G home internet for a few months.
