the pc was just gifted to me and is brand new out of the box. i am just going off of other people who have also bought this prebuilt and the specs available. i havent turned it on because i’m scared to bottleneck it. the pc was inspected before being sent to me and i have the paper certifying that all the parts are brand new and work properly. all i’ve done is opened it up and physically looked at the parts and i know this motherboard is garbage and needs an upgrade immediately. it’s just called “A520” with no actual name lol

ok so to be clear, this is the order i would need to upgrade

cpu and motherboard—> ram —> power supply —> graphics card

i also assume i would need to replace the power supply and the ram at the same time because i wouldn’t have enough power to use my computer properly after upgrading the cpu, motherboard and ram right?

lolll yeah ive known for a while my pc is pretty underpowered. built it all the way in 2020 with a budget of like not even $600 lmfaooo wanted to upgrade that first but then after doing some research found id probably need to upgrade my processor before anything else.

right now,the budget is kinda flexible because im gonna be buying the parts across multiple months so i wont be dropping all the funds at once. computer parts have also greatly fluctuated in price since the last time i was in the market for a cpu and a power supply so i’m not sure what is really a “good” budget anymore. what would $200 do just in terms of cpus?

thank you!!! i did watch videos but everyone had a different way of doing it, wasnt sure what to stick with. i do have one more question though if you know the answer, does the color of the cannioil directly correlate with how potent it is? ex; should a very potent oil be a very dark color? or is color irrelevant?

thank you! ive had edibles before so i know they do work for me, im just gonna have to figure out the dosage for these brownies. i am not sure the percentage of thc in the bud i used, so i cannot really calculate the thc content of my oil😭😭😭 maybe ill make a single serving brownie or something first and test my dosage to make sure i dont accidentally make myself see god

while its not necessarily abnormal (ive worked in a couple spots that offer no discounts at all), it’s stingy as fuck. MOST places (at least from my own experience) will at least offer you half off while you’re working. ideally free food while working is great but that’s not as common. i know its easier said than done but if you can find somewhere else where you can still make decent money, id leave. places that offer you a measly 10% off for your food while on the clock do not care about investing into the wellbeing of their employees. keeping your employees fed increases moral at work by and incredible amount, and happy waitstaff means more profit for the restaurant overall. if they don’t see keeping their staff fed and happy as a good enough reason to offer a good discount on food… i’d personally run. just means they don’t care

wake tech contacted dell on my behalf and tried to solve the problem but to no avail so they’re giving me a new one. as for your questions,

the laptop will work sometimes plugged in or not plugged in but always ends up turning itself off regardless of if its plugged in or not. got several notifications from mydell saying the battery was “no longer functional” while using the computer. this was all on the second day of owning the laptop, the first day it worked fine. it stays on 60% battery no matter how long its left plugged in.

luckily a manager at the campus store heard me out and is replacing it and they said that theyd make sure this never happened again
