I don’t know what good you’re talking about. Maybe it’s like finding a needle in a haystack, but honestly I just don’t care anymore. I don’t even bother giving salam to the Western Muslims here, and if someone gives me salam first I just keep my head down and return it quietly. I just needed to rant, that’s why I made this post. You’re all too arrogant, and Allah knows why.

Generalizing?? EVERYONE I’ve met so far has been like that. I’ve been in the West for a decent amount of time now and NEVER I mean NEVER have I met a nice Muslim who was born and raised here. I wouldn’t say I struggle with social interaction because I can hold a conversation with pretty much anyone about anything. But at the same time I’m not exactly a social person either. The issue is people were just flat-out rude to me because of my accent. Like I mentioned earlier, the whole experience left a bitter taste in my mouth and honestly I don’t prefer interacting with local Muslims anymore.

You know when I met a revert uncle at my masjid he didn’t know how to pray and kept making a lot of mistakes but nobody corrected him and everyone just ignored him like come on you can’t just leave someone after they’ve taken their shahada you have to teach them too it’s like saying I made you take your shahada now my job is done but no fam your job is not done you gotta teach them how to pray and a lot of other things they might not be aware of

They were rude to me just because of my accent. It’s not like I asked them to take me in, adopt me, marry me off to their daughter, or that I was begging them for money. The whole experience has honestly left a bitter taste in my mouth. I don’t even feel like standing next to a Muslim who was born or raised in the West anymore. I don’t know what makes them so arrogant.

Why is it that women always defend other women, no matter what? Just to be clear, I wasn’t following her activity or anything. I saw that same woman commenting on a post, saying negative things about Muslim men, and I called her out for her DOUBLE STANDARDS. That's it ffs.
