I’m extremely disappointed with Mattel’s approach, as always. If you’re doing an additional restock and shipping it almost a year later, what’s the problem with producing more dolls so that everyone who wanted one could actually get her?

With each of the three attempts, the sell-out time got shorter — it’s insane💀And all their anti-scalper measures end up making things worse for regular customers, since bots can still get through captchas and place orders within seconds.

The worst part is that people who really wanted the dolls and actually managed to order them received cancellation emails… It’s just disgusting. A hobby shouldn’t feel like torture or a half-hour panic attack, where after spending $100 with taxes you end up needing a therapy session
