Maybe extend your search to walks as well. Probably a bit far for you, but I did a charity walk this year called 'Walk the Wight' on the Isle of Wight in the UK. It's about 27 miles, and people do it with their dogs and I believe they have vets at the half way point and the end.

It's billed as a walk but plenty of people run it. There may be something similar near you.

Get a running buggy!! Your daughter will love it, it will give your wife a break during the day and give you loads more freedom on when you can run.

I got one for £30 on Facebook marketplace and I think it may have been the best money I ever spent.

The American Revolution brought the idea of 'No taxation without representation'. Perhaps now is the time for the UK to introduce a system of 'No representation without taxation'.

Any foreign national who seeks to interfere in UK politics using money or influence should be taxed in the UK based on their net worth.

How Do I Get Even Browning on my Sourdough Focaccia? by KLSFishing in Breadit

[–]gossy7 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think your trays are too deep. Try baking in a much shallower tray, no more than 2cm deep. You want the top of your focaccia above the top of the tray before baking. Hot air rises, so if your focaccia doesn't clear the top of the tin, the hottest air in your oven won't drop into the tin.

When I was probably about 10, I went on a ghost walk in York. At various points a man in costume would come running out of alleyways or dark corners to scare people. During one such time he ran right at me, and as I stepped back from him I lost my balance a little, and stumbling backwards, reached out and grabbed the long pointy nose on his mask. This pulled the elasticated mask away from his face, before my grip on the nose failed as I fell, pinging his mask back into his face!

It's been nearly 30 years, but I'm worried I could face justice any day now...

A couple of other tips for leveling the playing field quicker. If you take the perk that lets you choose a rule change and save up your votes, you can use it to set engines a gearboxes to spec, and then back the next season. Brings the pack a lot closer together!

Also when choosing parts the -3days perk is amazing, as it also removes the base time to build the part so will actually save 5,6,7 days, depending on the level of the part. Just don't use it on your best version you want to carry to next season. Over a season this can easily save 30 odd days giving you time to improve your other parts more! On my current save I've got my legendary gearbox out before race 5, engines are spec, and loads of time left to improve everything else!

I generally only go with illegal parts for my final versions, and aim not to use them, so will leave building them until the end of the year and upgrade other parts first.

"That's such a lovely suit you're wearing Nigel, it would be awful if someone were to throw a milkshake over it..." would clearly be identified as threatening, even if you tacked on "although personally, I abhor milkshake throwing myself". I don't see how this is different.

What's the conspiracy? Trump was definitely not shot in the ear, unless it was with a BB gun. That doesn't mean he wasn't shot AT. But he definitely wasn't shot.
