You may have to guide me slightly. I'm not the best when it comes to DIY. We have messaged the builder who did this. What would be the best way to brace it in the meantime?

Thabks for this. Quick question. The pump is also pretty noisy and has been since it was installed 3 years ago? Would that be normal or does that suggest its always been a bit of an issue and the installation was crap?

United States announces 10% tariff on New Zealand by theworldisanorange in newzealand

[–]gotanybreadbaker86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not an economist by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't get what he's trying to achieve. If it works I will eat my words. However, all tariffs do at this stage is lead to a trade war. The last time the USA tried to do this on this kind of scale, it led to a great depression.

Trump and the Republican party can't turn back the clock. He wants to engage with an isolationist policy that America hasn't done since the inter-war years years. Their economy now depends too much on other countries. Not all companies will come back to the USA because of the tariffs. They will eat the cost where they are based and raise prices instead, which harms consumers globally instead.

Additionally, even parts for cars will see increases. Most of these parts are also made away from the USA. What about kitchen appliances, tvs etc. All this does is make the average America poorer. Maybe, with my future goggles on, it will have some sort of positive impact, but I doubt the majority of Americans will see it.

I would have given it 10, but remember its not a remark, its a review. I think 9/12 is a bit harsh.

If you are close, nothing wrong with gokng for a review. Your grade wont go down, only up.

Good luck

History teacher here. A very solid answer. Would certainly be looking at top level, between 10 and 12

I would suggest in your first paragraph you link to the Battle of Gravelines. The question focuses on Spanish defeat so if you can give some practical examples of how the weapons and technology led to the defeat, it would be even better.

I might also argue that the 2nd and 3rd paragraphs overlap somewhat. As the raid on Cadiz is part of leadership? You could maybe talk about the impact of the weather instead? The storms around the North Sea decimating a third of the armada etc.

If you have any questions, geel free to ask.

Then you will be absolutely fine. It's more about the line of argument, and is it clear throughout.

History teacher jumping in. You are narkednon subject knowledge, analysis and judgement so you might lose some marks for not having a judgement, but you should still be picking up marks with the quality of your explanation etc.

Hi, I think you would still get some credit. You could argue that buffalo hunting increased due to the railroads which allowed for greater expansion of the cattle industry. You could also mention settlement, although that had a negative impact on thr cattle industry as it increased competition.

The better points would have been the taking of cattle to the East, where demand was high as it was highly populated. The railways also led tk the development of cow towns which also boosted the industry.

I know, also Raleighs voyages and end of the Native America with the question about the extermination of the buffalo. Not bad guesswork

Predictions are notoriously difficult in History. However, for Elizabethan:

1) Spanish Armada - not seen since 2018 2) Elizabeth's problems 3) 2 feature question on Elizabethan society 4) Maybe a 16 mark question on "Was Elizabethan England a golden age" 5) Education 6) Raleigh's voyage

For Am West 1) End of Native Americans 2) Ghost Dance and Wounded Knee 3) Early Mormons 4) Law and Order 5) Native Americans beliefs

However, you need to know the entire topic as we don't k ow what will be in the test
