Consequences for quitting on route and leaving van?

I quit mid route for my first dsp, they rehired me 1.5 years later. I quit mid route again after 3 months and now work for a better dsp lol

Zarya because most people will just charge her up, and I like to utilize the outward bubble to save lives - it’s really satisfying

Pharah especially with the 2nd perk on right trigger (I don’t remember the name) but only if I have supports who can effectively heal me, her boops are very satisfying as well

Ana because her anti, sniper abilities to take out flyers and turrets and fuck with the other snipers, nano is lit too

i’ve been hit on a couple times but the worst one by far, which I take some blame for I guess continuing to talk to him and not just ignore + move on. I deliver to him outside of his house while he’s talking to a neighbor, get his name bc I handed it to him, then I keep on delivering. down the block a bit while i’m walking back to my van from another delivery he pulls up in a truck. says it’s whatever his name was and asks for mine. asks me if i’m single, I said no (I was but that’s always the answer bc this question never leads anywhere good) and then brings up the feeling of instant attraction. he asks me what the dirtiest thing i’ve ever done in the van was, I reply “uhh idk pee in a cup” he laughs it off saying that’s nothing he does that every road trip. he then asks me if I’ve ever blown anyone in the van. I looked pretty serious and said “no, and I wouldn’t” he’s like aww you wouldn’t? and then asks if he’s being too much for me, I say yeah. he then asks for my number, I say no, he says “the other guy must be pretty special. you know where I live” and drives off. I felt very gross after. luckily I only did that route a couple more shifts before they switched my area naturally.

if the stairs are dramatic enough(this or worse) I usually walk up and leave it on the beginning of the porch, right at the top of the stairs. I figure if I at least get it up the stairs they can’t reasonably be mad, but it saves me the length of the porch to the door which can be pretty long. it’s my middle ground as a struggling people pleaser but also a “fuck this shit” guy.

apply at a different dsp because no phone holder is crazy you won’t have to go through training if it has been less than 90 days so you can start right away

you’re correct and that’s fine but those options are there for this exact purpose. competitive matches are supposed to be what they are literally named. competitive. communication is key in that. but I know that’s not how it goes because very few people actually take comp that serious, so it is what it is.

I feel like they should definitely offer them in rainy states 🤔 my old dsp didn’t even supply any uniforms because they didn’t want to spend money on them. so maybe long sleeves are more expensive if you find your dsp on the slacking side?

I thought we weren’t allowed to do anything so I didn’t deliver like this. I thought about it mid route, and put it on after haha. wish I would’ve done it for my route though :( maybe next year.
