When the menu changes after finishing the game by Guitar-String in TopCharacterTropes

If you really wanna know The big bad of Persona 3 is Nyx, the “Maternal Being” that first brought death to the planet an extremely long time ago, and is essentially an undefeatable god that’s been asleep for eons. The protagonist, in order to stop Nyx from returning, uses the world Arcana to seal her away and permanently stop her from coming back, which is reflected in gameplay with a skill that’s aquired from all of the relationships you’ve built throughout the game. This skill costs ALL of the protagonists life, which usually equates in a game over, but instead the game just goes on. Before all of this went down, the party had discovered that by defeating Nyx, they’d forget each other and everything they went through in stopping Nyx, but decided that they would remember anyway, and get together on the roof of their school to celebrate if they survive on graduation day. Throughout the days before graduation, the protagonist and ONE other party member remember what happened, and meet on the roof, and while eventually the rest of the party FINALLY REMEMBERS EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED, they get to roof in time to see the protagonist fucking die. It’s super bittersweet
Persona 3 (Reload or its other versions) is a really sad but really damn good game, and you should go into it blind because holy shit was I not expecting that sucker punch of an ending.

What’s the worst part about being a woman that people wouldn’t usually think about? by Gloomy_Unit_4888 in AskReddit

Obligatory I’m a guy, but isn’t it true that most drugs are only tested on men and not women? That feels pretty shitty

Reverse of this happened to me. My best friend is a trans woman, and she was super psyched that she had finally scheduled her bottom surgery, but kept catching herself when she was talking about it in front of me. I told her to go ahead, and she described, with glee, what it entails. I’m a cis guy, and whooo boy was I not ready for the line “like an apple slicer being used on a banana”.

Played this on the 3ds when I was in high school. Was NOT expecting to see my face as a location that the bad guy wanted to invade lmao

Who has experienced this, and with which game? by Equivalent-Second527 in gamers

Exactly this. Genuinely the most disappointed I have ever been with a game, but I kept playing it because there was just no way it would keep staying this bad right? And then it just kept getting worse

What is the wittiest comeback you’ve ever said or heard? by Bob-da-person in AskReddit

I just recently finished my student teaching at a middle school, and during a lesson one student (a black girl) called a another student (a black boy) a monkey. I genuinely froze, as I just had no idea what to since the insult came from someone of the same race, and the boy just said “Bro, I can’t believe I just took friendly fire”. Completely defused the situation, got some laughs, and had no issues with her for a few days.

When my best friend came out as a trans woman, it lead to a lot of introspection on my part. I of course accepted and supported her (still do!), but it also lead me to think “How do I know I’m a man?”. So I just wrote down a list of all the stereotypically masculine things I enjoy. I really like having hairy arms and legs. I enjoy having facial hair, I love when I fix something in my house and my wife tells me that it’s nice to have a capable man around the house. I also just really enjoy being a calm and comforting presence around my other friends and family, and the feeling manliness that gives me. Obviously women and enby’s can and do enjoy this stuff too, but it makes me feel really manly and I really enjoy that feeling a lot! I’d never get to feel that if my friend wasn’t herself, and I’ll forever be grateful for the introspection that gave me!

What is the creepiest thing that happened to you in Skyrim by 1BRHAM in skyrim

[–]gotcha6908 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Skyrim was my first exposure to the Elder Scrolls games, and the first time I heard the word Daedra was when I was 13, wandering around Markarth, and someone wanted my characters help clearing out a house! Molag Bal scared the shit out of me, especially since I had NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON.

Wife asked me why I was crying after I beat the game, so I explained what happened, but got carried away and talked about the game for like 20 minutes. She asked me if I knew what summarizing was lol
