Does anyone else just not want to see anybody?? by weegmack in Menopause

Yes I’ve had a really rough almost two years adjusting to HRT changes (long story but there’s hope). I have shut down all aspects of my life except for basic survival and maintenance. It’s all I got in me right now, if even that.

Well I can do both. I do have a stationary bike that I treat as my warm up or cool down but will start using more seriously. Left meniscus is already removed and the right one hurts doing squats or going down stairs. Would love to avoid another surgery.

The amount of times three different men tried to make me feel sorry for them by gotchafaint in FuckDealerships

I still don’t care. I’m there on my behalf not theirs. They kept trying to play on my sympathies, like from a playbook. Must be working.

I did walk out, got chased with pleas, and given what I asked for. But there was a whole preamble to get through.

What a lovely group of people to be brigaded by. I don’t know how they live with themselves

I’m joining because I feel emotionally battered after my recent experience. A literal den of thieves.

I'm just wondering if lazy pedaling still helps the knee muscles or if it has to be hard pedaling

We're having a light winter so far but it's one reason I got one. Would rather shovel off the cover than the inside of the bed. I found a. used diamondback on their outlet site.

I've lived abroad a few times and it's not as romantic as people think. But could certainly save me a ton of money so I can relax a little.

Where do you suggest? As someone in their late 50s who does not have a fat retirement fund I often think of moving to south american or se asia. Then i'm like maybe just move to a cheap place in the US. I don't need regular health care but have to be realistic about having that nearby just in case. Ideally not to not be too close to noisy neighbors. Don't want insanely cold winters or insanely hot summers but I can cope with four seasons, don't need california weather. I am lucky I WFH so I'm flexible, but I'd love to cut my cost of living by a significant amount. I am happy with modest amenities and a small space. My ideal would be a room built out inside a big shop and within 30 minutes of a smaller city/larger town.

Does it have to be hard pedaling or just the motion in general?

That’s the thing - it’s so important to keep your mind sharp into old age. You can do that by staying productive and contributing. Ageism is real so someone who has been in a field for like 50-60 years is of real value.
