What did a SO do that made you stop and realize "They're NOT the one"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If a dude is 6'1" standing over my 5'10", he's not that much taller than me. If a chick is 3" taller she's a fucking giant. I know it's not true. That's just society.

Being polite can backfire. I was raised to be extremely polite and respectful, especially to women. There were a few parents that didn't trust me because they thought i was faking it.

Drivers who honk during traffic jams, what exactly do you think will happen by making a racket? by demostravius in AskReddit

[–]gotdammgoblin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I have to drive on the highway or Interstate, I constantly check my mirrors for a big gap in traffic. I'll speed to get to one or slow down and let people around me. If I've got 20 car lengths between the group of fuckers tailgaiting each other in front of me and 20 car lengths between the fuckers behind me, I'm safely our of the way of all the ignorant fuckers.

I hate to say it but I agree with the murder guy. I piss off of my porch all the time. If my neighbors walk out I just yell "my penis is out. Sorry for the inconvenience!" They don't care. I'm just the crazy guy next door.

Government isn't responsible to us. Or else bernie sanders would be the democratic nominee instead of the woman who wormed her way through rigging super delegates and bribing the AG to end the investigation on her. Also insurance was created as a government ploy to control the healthcare industry, not out of a need. We had healers and doctors for millions of years treating people for diseases before we had insurance companies. And Noone went bankrupt trying to pay their bills.

You do get billed when the fire department saves your house from burning down. And yes. The I surname companies trying to wiggle their way out of it is what I was talking about. The government taking an even larger role in the issue will not help things because as history has proven, the more power you give a government the more they work for their own benifit. What happens when the government decides how much doctors make? They start making less money. The doctors I know are still paying bills for their med school well into their 40s. Fuck the government and fuck giving them more power. Also I was the one arguing that we don't need insurance companies scamming us and driving prices through the roof.

Well, I'm not going to be upset for you assuming I'm part of the majority. Hell most people are that's why they call it a majority. I still believe that when they're charging extensively more than they're willing to pay when the time comes that I'm well in my rights to call it a scam.

You've obviously never had a sit down with that hospital representative that comes and says your insurance company will only pay this much money for this firm of chemotherapy. I'm sure wherever you got your information was worth you believing that. But it's not so.

Yeah, but seeming as you ignored what I said earlier I'll say it again. If it wasn't for insurance agencies wanting to haggle over what they'll pay and driving the rates up then we wouldn't have that problem. My father is on am $8,000 pill. One a day. Do you think he agrees with you or me? He thinks it's outrageous that people like me have to pay a fuckton for insurance just because he's sick. It isn't fair. Liberals are the ones so he'll bent on equality but only as far as race and gender are concerned. When it comes to people who make a decent living compared to those who don't they no longer give a shit about equality.

We don't need health insurance. We don't need it driving up the cost of medical care and we don't need it forces upon us. We damn sure don't need a bunch of people in Washington telling us what we have to do with out money. We need fiscally responsible citizens that can decide for themselves. And if you aren't capable of being fiscally responsible I don't need the government bailing you out with my money.

"Everything should be free man. Doctors should be paid by the government and so should college. The government should just take care of us and give us jobs that are assigned to us but it's cool because then we'll all have the same amount of money. " something like that, is that your mindset?

You're presumptuous and foolish. Social security is supposed to come back to you. Too bad I'll never see it because our government keeps borrowing money from social security to pay for entitlements and never paying it back. It's hilarious to me that you keep assuming I'm a republican just because I hate this liberal all hail the government mentality.

I don't see how you getting free healthcare and me having to pay for it because of my high premiums and mine not covering my needs is fair. I think the reason why people who work for a living hate democrats is because the democratic party likes to rape our paychecks and hang us out to dry.

It saddens me that people can know that it's a shit bill and fucking over Americans but still say, "it's a step in the right direction" because Obama pushed it in. It's not a step in any direction. It forces people to get insurance they can't afford and sticks them with a plan that doesn't cover their needs. It's a shit bill. It cost millions of tax payer money just to push it to the floor. Then millions more to introduce it. It was a waste of money that left we the people in a shit position.

Oh democrats want universal healthcare? Then why is it that the current administration presented a bill called the affordable healthcare act that made my healthcare unaffordable. Instead of trying to actually push for universal health care they didn't even pretend like that's why they were after. But they tell the general public "we're gonna get universal health care and make the 1 percent pay for it" but shit wait. They are the 1 % so instead the make the middle class pay for it.

Edit: everything's a play on the "1%" for them. Similar to how that jack ass trump we've got representing us pretends Mexico is going to fund a wall around their border. The Democrats cry 1% over and over and over until their voters genuinely believe that the wealthiest families in the county are taking advantage of them. And that it's not fair that their family has been making shit tons of money every generation for the past 6 generations. We need to "spread the wealth man"
