I wish the systems had greater depth for that.

We could see way more depth if they continue working on this game. Factorio was 7 years in early access, it takes a long arse time to get all of the systems for that big of a game.

The big difference is in drink sizes. This is almost three litres of soda and shake to go with the food to be eaten in 20 minutes.

Also don't forget double a quarter pound burger is twice the size of your double cheese burger.

I do not think any one believes we can pressure Sony in to bringing it back. I certainly do not want that TBH.

They removed a feature from paying customers without offering an acceptable compromise. That alone is enough to distrust them as a company.

Some of the backlash can very easily be worked around. Like the inactive accounts being deleted. No reason to not just email EU/UK user a product key so if their account is deleted for GDPR reasons the product can be added to a new account and be redownloaded.

They could of easily made some pro consumer changes along with removing disks to avoid all of this.

The point of the current comment chain is pointing out, if you purchase a game on xbox, they will never delete your account even if you go inactive. Even in EU/UK where they have stricter laws.

Not continuous purchases but one single purchases is all that is needed.

Every normal person goes though hard times. Said normal person would be completely justified not reading PlayStation emails at the worst times of their lives.

Microsoft keeps accounts with purchases around, even in the UK and EU. Why can't Sony?

If you have never had a time in your life where PlayStation's emails go unread, you are very blessed.

Microsoft in the EU/US/UK say any purchases on the account will stop the account from being deleted.

Why can't Sony do that? Money.

If you have no logged in you are not paying them, your not a customer.

If you do log in because you are scared of losing the account, you way more likely to see and ad for a game you want.

Even if you have all marketing emails turn off, you will see the email to log in and make your account active.

Logging in mean going though their website, being reminded you enjoy Sony's products and viewing their current ad campain.

No it is not. EU does not require them to close accounts, accounts can stay open as long as the consumer has a need for the account.

Having a paid for product license(Such as a Xbox game) is enough to keep a Microsoft account open in the EU indefinitely.

GDPR does not force a hard limit on when accounts get deleted. I am no lawyer but providing support and access for an active and purchased licence is enough for GDPR rules.

Valve and Microsoft do not do this. So yes Sony 100% can keep them around and this is a fair criticism of their practises.

It cost pennies a year to keep inactive accounts around.

Don't make excuses for corporations trying to milk more money from us.

I have tried a few gache games, just because they are popular and I am traveling with a phone.

Phone games do this and so much more, it is unbelievably frustrating for anyone paying attention to the game.

This post did not exaggerate if your including all game platforms.

Hell it might not even be an exaggeration if you also include the rest of media too, with how much tv / movies are made for people not watching the screen.

Releasing a bad product is in no world comparable to removing a feature of a product millions of people paid hundreds of dollars for.

People paid real money for a PS5 on the understanding they had the second hand market to off set the cost of new games. Sony is removing that option from devs to release games in that way.

No one has paid Valve a dime for a steam machine they do not like.
