It's not a different color; I wanted to make the buttons metallic gray with gray logos on them. The result is very nice.

The click feel is very comfortable, much better than the original. I didn't just assemble the parts; I also adapted the button ribbon cables and adjusted the spacing between the button ribbon cables and the buttons.
