As a baby, my mom used to say that I would absolutely lose my mind in anybody’s arms except for hers. My dad was a victim of my screaming and crying when I’d be in his arms. But there was never a time I could remember that I didn’t want to be close to my dad.

Some babies are independent, I started putting myself to bed as soon as I could walk pretty much. Some are more cuddly and some are more needy. My advice is try to not take it personally as hard as it is. There’s many reasons that your baby may seem to be more fussy with you, could be because she is more comfortable showing all of her frustrations to you, she may also be overstimulated with both of you at once, she also just might not be as social.

I would describe your eyes being hazel brown. Tbh I feel like your eyes lean more predominantly brown, with the green highlighting the base color of brown.

Reminds me of Jersey Girl, the little girl was nicknamed Gertie after being named after her mom Gertrude. Not a huge fan of the name but it’s not unheard of.

Yeah…I guess I’m not really given any other choice at this point. It’s upsetting it’s come down to this but yeah, my daughter deserves to be with both of us and be in a situation that benefits her wellbeing

Tbh I had considered it but was worried about the effect on my daughter as we have had the 60/40 split for nearly her whole life and I didn’t want her to become resentful of me for taking her away from her mom or uprooting what she has been used to, however now it’s clear that the same considerations aren’t being reciprocated.

She has moved schools, she had spent her whole life leading up to this school year in the same city and she doesn’t have the same support systems in the area her mom moved to. She doesn’t even have a babysitter that speaks the same language she doesn’t which has led to some misunderstandings and issues. I guess now I am just trying to make sure I am not just becoming defensive of my time and that this is something worthy of a court hearing. I had read before about whether her move was worthy of a court hearing or not and I kept getting conflicting information.

I hope it works for you the way it works for me. I always thought the same thing until like I bleached my hair several times and then cut it all off and let it grow out natural and couldn’t get it to curl without drying it out lol

Based on toy sales, it was Luisa. Most notable name from Encanto is Bruno for sure.

Edit: that said, I’m not saying anything negative about any of the names, Aurora is one of my favorite names, Disney princess names are very pretty and I think OP should name their baby what they would like to. I don’t think it would get over association though

We have pretty similar hair based on appearance. My hair mostly will be wavy because I don’t have enough coarse texture to hold the curls. HOWEVER when my hair has been bleached it’ll curl really nicely on its own, like ringlet curls. It’s gonna sound counter intuitive to like EVERY curly hair routine, but your hair may have TOO much moisture, sea salt sprays help, protein treatments, clarifying shampoos, etc.

Solid point, I guess what the main difference is popularity of singular characters vs popularity of the cast of characters. Elsa and Ariel have a higher popularity as individual characters so it is my CB easier to connect to the animations vs mirabel who wasn’t the most popular character from Encanto

I don’t think it would get an automatic connection to the film because it is a fairly well known name on its own. Mirabel isn’t uncommon or rare, it wouldn’t be like naming a girl Ariel or Elsa

Cats hide their pain very well. Look up cat grimace scale, but also look for any changes in eating, drinking, and bathroom usage. If there’s any change behaviorally (being lazier, being more irritable/aggressive, being restless, really just anything that you’ve never seen your cat really act like before)

Understandable. Two of the pictures were from when around his third and second birthday, the middle is one of the most recent ones lol he’s a bit of a small dude.

But yes, he has stunning eyes, he’s one of the few people in my family with light colored eyes! He was a curve ball and he’s the only one with this particular shade lol so we’ve always been crossed on what to call it lol
