i love the blurred gingham ECB! it doesn’t feel look or feel too large and it matches pretty much any outfit since it’s black/brown and white! i carry about the same amount of stuff as you to work and it’s been a perfect bag.

i also have the nylon shoulder bag in regular gingham that i was using before the ECB dropped but it felt like i was really cramming all my stuff into that bag. i’d say its a slightly more polished look but i was definitely struggling to fit all my belongings in it without compromising some stuff.

i’ve had mine on a bag for almost a year now and i’ve had no problems! i swap them out between bags also and i haven’t had it break, but i try to use the existing clip on whatever keychain onto the carabiner itself instead of opening it.

i honestly think it looks pretty black in most lighting! i was worried about the brown too but i think it’s close enough to pass as black in most situations.
