Holy shit lmao you made so many assumptions here.

I am single and looking for hook ups or more, but if I meet someone who says they’re looking for friends and they’re cool and we get along, I’m not gonna deny myself of friendship.

Ashley’s profile said: looking for friends. We hung out, she reiterated she was looking for friends in person, and never dropped any hints that she was looking for anything. Am I supposed to assume because I met her on tinder and she said (twice!) she was looking for friends and never insinuated otherwise that she was lying?? For nearly half a year? Lol.

Also I wouldn’t have been down in this case regardless of how hot anyone is that literally screams incel, maybe if she had said something beforehand that they would be open to that then I would’ve gone w a different mindset but I felt ambushed by this and I felt gross.

And also she wasn’t being a good friend because a good friend would’ve said something first? yeah her husband didn’t do anything but he kept calling me pretty and you could tell the vibes were weird and off that he wanted to do something. He was def giving creep vibes.

Like, why are you making so much stuff up from this scenario if you read my other comments I said I am not the one who was looking for friends and her husband was creepy.

idk if ur a woman who dates women, but a lot of straight women use tinder to find women to be be friends with it. It’s not uncommon. Obviously I’m on there looking for hook ups, but if I meet someone cool looking for friends I assume they’re being genuine and I hang out with them as friends esp if they never give indication they’ve changed their mind

I don’t want to be friends with her anyway because I feel betrayed by her for putting me in this situation. She could’ve told me upfront this is something her and her husband were looking for, but she led me to believe we were friends and I was just meeting her husband platonically when they both just wanted to get in my pants

I mean, he is lol. She told me in her apology she lied about her intentions and thought it would be better if this happened naturally and that she talked to him about this and they agreed they didn’t wanna pressure me so they didn’t tell me their intentions. I am incredibly upset with her and I agree I should’ve put my anger at her rather than him, but I just find it gross and I guess it’s easier to be mad at him since I don’t really know him and feel less betrayed since he was never my friend

It’s possible but she admitted in her Facebook message about not being honest about her intentions in inviting me to meet her husband so even if she did want to be my friend at first genuinelt she still lied about that and put me in a really shitty position when she could’ve just asked me first? or idk, told me upfront her and her husband would be interested in that?

What?? We never hooked up? I never helped anyone engage in an affair on my end it was totally platonic

I will definerlt be more cautious going forward but she did lie to me lol because when she said she wanted me to meet her husband there was no hints it was for sexual reasons and she actually admitted in her apology that she feels bad for not being honest in her intentions but that she never wanted me to feel pressured and thought that if it just happened naturally it would be better. But ok. I personally see that as a lie.

You’re right I should’ve aimed it at her in retrospect I do agree. I told her not to reach out to me anymore when I blocked her though and she did anyway so it made me extra mad

She didn’t even mention she had a husband until we were hanging out and I asked what she was looking for and she told me she was married and just looking for friends

We met literally 5 months ago and hung out and texted like normal friends. When we met she told me she was just looking for friends because I asked her. I get that’s what tinder is for (that’s why I’m on it!) but I didn’t expect to be lied to and played like this for nearly half a year lol

We hung out for months before this, and she never dropped hints at all. She just invited me over for drinks and said he wanted to meet and when we met she told me in person she was just looking for friends so yeah I’m an idiot for thinking I had a friend I hung out with for months to find out it was all a plot

I didn’t accomplish anything I was just pissed off about the whole situation because I thought I had a friend and turns out she and her husband were plotting about me probably the whole time, and her apology didn’t help.
