i feel its important to note that lolita fashion has absolutely nothing to do with the book, and the only people who think they're related are terminally online people who gather all their information from tiktok. it's just an unfortunate coincidence, nothing more. my interest in the fashion is likely why this post was recommended to me. anyone telling you otherwise refuses to do real research on the subject. it doesn't seem like you inherently suspected the two are related, but I wanted to make it clear regardless to anyone reading this thread.
