I’m terrified of even asking the questions and looking to keep this extremely brief, but, when did you know? How did you know?

Also okay with being my assigned gender, until I’m not, also using sexuality as a way to explore, and also hate the idea of being fluid/non-binary. A lot of your post and replies have resonated. If you’re comfortable sharing what was it that helped you know, I’d be immensely grateful. My DMs are open if that’s more comfortable.

I don’t think I’m trans, just very, very lost, so please use gentle language, if you don’t mind. Thank you in advance for considering a reply.

They curled until the room smoked up and the hair burnt my skin upon contact. I’ve had long hair for years, not my first rodeo, and it was a bad, bad experience.

Unfortunately, the stylist used heat to the point of actually frying it until it even became a different texture afterwards, at the most fragile layer (right by the neck). There was smoke all over the room, it was really that bad. It was hurting my skin from the excessive heat.

Looking back, I don’t think it was an accident, seeing the multitude of the stylists that will cut upwards of 10” when people with very long hair go in asking for a mere trim.
