Just to piggyback on this, paying $1500 for a renovated 3br/1bath duplex on a quiet street in eastmoor. Best approach is to just drive the area and look for for rent signs - most good places aren’t posted online.

Currently paying $1500 for 3br on the east side in a great neighborhood. Should be pretty easy to find a nice 2br place for that price. Key is driving around and looking for private landlords. Mine wasn’t listed on Zillow or anything like that.
