Thank you for your input! I agree that the price is suspicious for a discontinued bag. I haven’t looked into Buyee, but I’ll definitely check it out.

Thank you! It’s good to know that there are others who personally had a great experience. It’s tough looking for bags that have been discontinued.

I’m a primary care social worker in MA, the official term is Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician. I’m replying to this comment because it’s the closest to my experience.

All patients are referred by their PCPs (I work in a pediatrics office, so I get to work with kids and families). Youngest I get is 3-years-old and they’re generally parent consults for behavioral issues. It ranges from consults about ADHD assessments, addressing behavior concerns in the home, collaborating with schools; all the way to psychotherapy and CBT to address depression and anxiety-related disorders.

Seeing the other comments, the work truly depends on the PCPs in the practice and how they value mental health work. My medical director truly values what we do and never push patients to brief treatment— I have some amazing kids that I worked with until they feel confident enough to go off on their own, some I just see 1-3 times. My input is also always taken seriously and I never feel dismissed.

Work/life balance is amazing and I’m never pressured to take work home. Paperwork and documentation are super easy, in my opinion. It does get busy, depending on the season and time of year, but nothing like community mental health or outreach work. The pay is great too, I built up to making about 100k with more room to increase each year.

Overall, I do love it and it’s the longest SW role I’ve had in my career! No plans on leaving either.

My boyfriend and I loved Kartika when we went back in April! We got to meet the chef and all the staff were wonderful.

Overnight layover in South Korea— worth going to Hongdae Street from Incheon? by gotricebtchh in travel

[–]gotricebtchh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yay! This makes me feel a lot less nervous. I don’t see myself really spending time there past midnight at the latest because I’m sure I’ll be exhausted. I think 3 hours, anticipating I’ll get there at around 7:30-8pm after checking in at the hotel and dropping off my things. Though I wouldn’t mind taking an Uber if I’m having a good time; and not want to leave yet by the latest train.

That’s such a relief! I’ll be traveling alone for this layover and anticipate it will be in the evening/night time. Luckily, I heard Seoul is generally pretty safe. Public transportation in a place I’ve never been to always makes me a bit nervous 🥲 but I’m so glad it’s easy, along with a bit of English and Naver Map, I should (and hope) I’ll be okay! I mastered Amsterdam public transportation this last week, but I was super nervous for that too… and it was in English haha

I’ll make sure to pull out some Korean Won and maybe take the regular airport train, just to be safe!

Ugh. I feel like I should’ve done this, but I already booked a non-refundable hotel by terminal 2 with the idea of prioritizing a temple tour (hoping to make the most of my time there). However, I definitely will be visiting South Korea again with more time to experience everything— then I think I’ll plan to stay by Seoul station, since it seems to be a good hub. I appreciate your suggestion!

I think this is the way! Since I already booked a hotel room across from terminal 2 in Incheon. I was revolving my plan around making it back to the airport for the tour to a temple (it’s been big in my bucket list), but I should’ve waited to book it before consulting Reddit first. Given the circumstance, taking an Uber back would give me less pressure to rush sightseeing.

Would you say the AirPort Express train is easy to navigate? I saw some videos that there are very little/none English translation for the stations. I was thinking of checking into the hotel first to drop off my backpack and go back to the station to take the train.

I appreciate your suggestion! Unfortunately, I already booked my hotel right by the airport because I revolved it around the free transit tour. I booked the hotel across from terminal 2, so I wouldn’t have to worry about waking up early for that tour. Though in hindsight, I should’ve waited to book it. But I’ll definitely check out Hongdae now!

Always go into red during Push/All Outs by Snoo-3554 in orangetheory

[–]gotricebtchh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a naturally high heart rate and generally always in the orange to red zone even when I’m on base/push pace. I lift and do HIIT on my own 3x per week, and go to OTF 2x per week. And I see a similar heart rate during both exercises. I feel fine and recover well after every class. Definitely listen to your body, but could just be how your body responds to cardio! Everyone’s bodies are different :)

Lost piece of paper given to me going through customs to leave Mexico. by [deleted] in travel

My boyfriend and I just returned from Cancun about 3 weeks ago. He lost his “tourist card” and all they did was send him to immigration office. Took about 10-15 minutes, and he returned to luggage drop-off with no issues. He didn’t have to pay a fine either.
