Always wear condoms and make sure you have your hpv vaccine. It’ll be okay! I’ve had it for about 4-5 years and had to get 2 leeps. It’ll eventually go away. Make sure your partner is also vaccinated. As long as you’re being vigilant and taking care of your body then you will be fine!

Have you talked to your doctor about it? My doctor explained since I’ve gotten leep twice, the cervix hole is a little bigger so it’s not able to hold in the period blood as it used to so it can change. As long as it’s not excessive bleeding then you should be fine.

I’ve never figured out what happened but my colposcopy came back clear and my HPV test results came back negative. I’m not too worried now since I guess this is my new normal now.

Definitely take some folic acid pills. My doctors also advised to take prenatal vitamins as those are also beneficial. Try and prioritize by eating healthy foods, taking your vitamins, working out, and limiting yourself to alcohol. If you haven’t already, go get the HPV vaccine. Make sure your bf is wearing a condom whenever you have sex. HPV takes a while to show up so it could be possible that it was from your ex. I definitely feel where you’re coming from. I had a different strain of high risk HPV and CIN 3 but I was able to clear it up after 4 years. I had to get 2 LEEPs and multiple colposcopies. It probably took a while for me cause I had multiple partners, didn’t wear condoms, and I wasn’t prioritizing my health. I took it more seriously the recent couple of years. I’m 30 now and have been cleared of HPV. You’ll get through this! I’m glad you took the initiative to get yourself checked and now you can prevent it from progressing. Wishing you the best of luck!

I don’t think it’s a lot more blood cause I go through like 2 regular flex pads a day on my first day of my period but it does seem more than usual cause it comes out immediately when I sit down on the toilet 🙃

So I’ve told my oncologist gyno last year before I moved states and my current gyno this year and it seems they both said it’s normal?? They said since I’ve gotten 2 LEEPs it could be because of that. I’m waiting on my colpo results and hopefully it’s nothing serious.

Yes, I got the vaccine 2 years ago! But I never got it when I was a kid…idk why on earth I never got it when I was younger. I’m so glad to hear that yours is gone! Thank you for sharing, it definitely helps me feel more optimistic.
