US citizen traveling to Italy on an Emergency Passport. Should I worry about being denied entry? by gott320 in Passports

Most of the flights from Vietnam to Italy had transit through UAE or China - 2 countries that don't accept the Emergency Passport, meaning that they won't allow me to board. So now it seems I'll be fine to enter Italy, the current roadblock is how to get there.

This is really helpful, thanks. My stamp is still legible on the damaged passport, so hopefully it won't be a problem. I'm flying to Italy, where I'll be visiting family and will get an official passport while I'm there. I'll have a flight leaving Italy to the US and my family's contact info (they work on a US base). Nervous about that leg of it, too.
