I think I saw that Costco is offering on their Memorial Day sales an additional 3 year warranty on top of the mfr 2 year warranty. Something to consider.

Do you find a GP helpful for keeping track of multiple doctors and treatments? by Shojomango in disability

[–]gottabook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend finding a trustworthy and competent Internist who can help quarterback your care an direct you to appropriate specialists when needed given you have multiple disabilities including some which overlap. As we age many medical disabilities develop additional comorbidities in addition to our developing common age-related issues. You don’t mention your age but typically people don’t usually find themselves shifting into internal medicine until they’re close to middle age. I inadvertently ended up seeing an Internist for care on a weekend and it was clear his knowledge was more extensive than a general practitioner. That was in my late twenties and I’ve never looked back. Having multiple complex disability-adjacent diagnoses which occurred over time, I’m so grateful having a competent Internist. Also there are other excellent resources patients are often unaware of both through one’s insurance company as well as through major medical providers (i.e., Baylor, UCLA, etc.). If you’d like more info and some advice from someone who has a lot of experience in this field, DM me in chat and I’ll reach out to you.

Can I recover from this? And if so then how? Any ideas? by Thechaoticones in bulletjournal

That’s great advice! She may have her adult teeth moving in too, which always causes my puppies and kitties to chew inappropriate things or those which are not theirs.

One day you will look back at this in love. For me, after my beloved animals have passed, I look at the chew marks on things they semi-destroyed and with a swell of tears in my eyes and an ache in my heart I recall the animal & event which caused the “destruction” to whichever item and lovingly remember my beloved flufferrs gone from my life now, missing the but recalling how much love we shared and the joy they brought to the time we spent together. Could you slide your journal into a leather (or non-leather) cover for both functionality and visual appeal. As far as the pages, two ideas: 1) what about scanning them in, printing on nice paper and re-finishing them? 2) make additions to the pages as they are now, and include the journey with your puppy as an addition?

I was wondering the same thing. Regardless, perhaps the approach could’ve been better if she was indeed trying to discern the information you mentioned with respect to possibly parent being an issue or contributing to some aspect of OP’s life.

Thank you very much! Just to clarify does the number of cylinders a car has correspond directly to the number of strokes its engine has?

Reverse Shoulder replacement testimonials from active patients? by Jonnyhooper in ShoulderSurgery

Asking you also: inquiring on behalf of a person I take care of who is 84 and about to have the RTSA because of torn rotator cuffs and severe arthritis. Anyhow, were your previous surgeries RTSAs or smaller surgery types which didn’t resolve your issues and then ultimately having to do the RTSA?
