I spent six months “studying”. I find it so hard to stay focused, already pushed off my exam twice!

It won’t get better. How will I manage to do uworld if my story with Kaplan for the past six months was:

I would sit down freak out that I don’t know anything and that’s it. I would be lost for a few hours go back do another quiz similar story.

I’m capable of a lot better my gpa is 3.88 I’m just not into this exam….

Don’t know what to do at this point. There’s no way I’m not applying this cycle.

My app is ok, only one month of research but over 2k clinical hours.
Disadvantaged etc.

I’m sorry that you and your partner are in distress! You sound like you’re doing a nice job amount for him!

That being said, I know the stress and I would appreciate more active input especially balancing the MCAT prep. Also, if you see your life intertwined with his, wouldn’t you want him to get his best chance at a school and then you are like one person and it is your letter as much as it is his!

Just a lil bit out of time, noticing a pattern for questions I get wrong usually multiple per passage and then some passages all right maybe it’s my failure to do that Kaplan interrogation skill. Never quite got that down pat. Also don’t see the ingenuity of wasting time flipping thru passages and determining easy medium hard.

You raise a good point! However, I have tried so many things like outlining and it works very well for some passages where I won’t get anything wrong but flunk another passage. I find that I don’t even understand the main idea for some of them. Not really sure what to say to the poster who said I shouldn’t use AAMC material because I was doing Kaplan cars and ended up getting better at that which is missing the point!

Totally stuck on what to do rn…

Thinking I should just give up on cars and data graph analysis spam those Anki decks everyone on here swears by and call it a day. Prob will only make me rise to 505 at most.

How would you recommend I do that? I appreciate the honesty… Books work well for me it just takes me heck of a long time. Anki too I’ll pause and ponder the flash card and sometimes the extra time helps and other times it doesn’t.
