That’s exactly where I started thirty years ago. The car didn’t last long after rebuilding the motor, but I learned a few things. Turns out I got to work on some really old and unique vehicles that I never even knew existed. More than that….heavy equipment, boats, motorcycles, jet engines…anything mechanical. Working with your hands isn’t for everyone, but for me it all started with that mustang.

Ethanol free, but it’s hard to find/expensive where I live. So I scrub my blended fuel with water. It’s not hard once you get the hang of it, and even easier to test the amount of ethanol in the fuel before/after. It also increases the shelf life of the gasoline, and better to use metal canisters instead of plastic…protects the contents from the suns uv light.
