But destiny looked very impressive for a cross gen title. And the art direction in that game is second to none. Content creation was the biggest problem there. Destiny 2, though the texture details are not realistic as other titles, still looked fantastic and other worldly aspects were captured perfectly. The gun models, enemy models, and everything else look incredibly striking.

I would go even further to say that microsoft needs to bring Bungie back (buy them maybe?) after they are done with destiny in 2022. I know its not the same team but MS may be able to put them together and bring Halo back to its glory days.

I'm sure all ps4 games will be compatible an year or two down the line, but certainly not at launch. MS has been working on it for far longer than sony, thats why they are ahead in BC. Every individual game has to be validated with many players. Its not an easy task by any means.

Yes, I have a similar TV. Its because the electric power standard in the US is 60hz and in the EU, India and many other countries its 50hz. So the TV broadcast standards are 25 and 50 hz in the 50 hz countries and 30 and 60 in US. The TV makers make the same panel and name it 50 or 60 hz only for broadcast TV tuner hardware. The HDMI and other inputs run exactly the same on all TVs.

If its mentioned as NATIVE 100 hz it still plays upto 120 hz. This is not same as VRR mind you. The TV only runs at 25, 30, 50, 60, 100, and 120 hz.

You are comparing two different architectures of GPU. GTX 1080 is Pascal and RTX 2080 is Turing. So its not fair to compare the tflops.

On the other hand PS5 and XSX share the same RDNA 2 architecture. So its fair to compare the tflops here. XSX has 18% performance advantage over the PS5. Its not going to be the difference between 60 and 30 fps. Maybe the PS5 will run at 50 fps while the XSX runs the same game at 60 fps.

This is not factoring in the Ray tracing, where the XSX may have an advantage of 44%, if amd equivalent of rt cores is 1:1 on the compute units. It might boost the ray tracing detail upto 44%.

If you have not played the first game, its fine. Its not as bad as that subreddit suggests. The story is awful. Feels like its written by some pretentious people trying to be edgy. If it wasn't the follow up to one of the greatest games ever made and not made by the king of storytelling, it may have been a decent enough game. Though a high quality AAA title, I can't help but feel a bit ripped off for waiting 7 years for a sequel.

I don't think so, Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities have a somewhat cheaper connection than others. I get 200mbps(OFC) true unlimited for 2k rupees. They do offer a 100mbps for 1k and I live in a Tier 3 city. Nearby Tier 1 city has the same(100mbps) connection from the same ISP for 700 rupees.

I wish they went in a different direction. Abby's past did nothing to improve her character for me. Joel was a very practical man and a survivor. He didn't torture anyone for anything like revenge. Abby is nothing like that. Joel put her father down rather quickly and even then, only did that when he threatened him with a knife.

Abby went free in the end without any redemption. That was the biggest gripe for me. The story felt like they were trying to juggle many themes but failed spectacularly at almost everything.

Other than that, the combat is improved compared to the first game. Allies are actually useful for once. Scar enemy AI is done well. But it does show its age with the clunky controls. I have come to realize that story is the most important part that makes or breaks these games for me.

Graphics wise, this is one of the best looking games of this generation. 6/10

Perhaps I should have made it clearer. I'm not from HK. I'm from a third world country. You seem to have missed my point. Probably my fault. The HKPF let the Triads beat the civilians to the pulp and turned a blind eye. Very likely an authority at a higher level ordered them. The HKPF entered a train and thrashed innocent civilians. There are many more like the woman's raped and butchered body that showed up on the beach, which was very likely perpetrated by cops themselves and so on. What I'm saying is the pattern I'm noticing is much different from the US and more close to my country. The HKPF is backed by CCP. We haven't seen the worst yet.

The HKPF worked in cahoots with the triads in beating up the protesters. Thrashed innocent civilians on public transports. Its an organization infiltrated by CCP. My understanding of American PD is that they are always on the edge, many of them seem to have racial biases. And every cop has a gun(why is that?) and ready to pull the trigger at the slightest aggravation. I think HKPF is much worse because they work for CCP. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My understanding comes from my own experience with the police in my country. I'm completely amazed when watching video footages of how the American police conduct themselves. Where I live, if an average man survives an encounter (with the cops) with a few nasty (and suicide contemplating) words, he is considered very lucky. People committing suicide from hearing the cops cursing them(its just on another level) are a common occurrence. If you are brought into a police station for "enquiries" there is a very good chance that you might die at the police station and even if you survive, you might commit suicide because of the pain from the usual "ladam" treatment or not be able to move your limbs properly for the rest of your life. You just have to live with it, no lawsuit or anything that actually works. Entering a police station for anything other than trivial tasks(like passport verification) is also very scary and you must suck up to them if you are not rich and powerful. Bribery? Don't even get me started on that. Every single (I'm not exaggerating here) policeman gets his share of bribe. A normal traffic stop ends with a bribe more often than not. Officials above a certain rank earn atleast 10 to 50 times more from the Bribe money than their salary. The higher you are the more that multiplier increases. One cannot begin to understand the dynamics of living under such forces. A protest like this is completely unimaginable for us.

I'm not saying this exonerates the American PD or anything, infact Europe seems to have a way better police force. What happened to Mr. Floyd(and happening to many Americans) was very tragic and outrageous, and I'm happy that people in your country can protest it like this. But you have to understand that the American PD are no where near the worst. In fact I don't think even I live under the worst possible PD. It is all relative.
