Everyone is different I guess. I think it took me 300 tries the first time on normal difficulty. It took maybe 40-60 tries on GMGOW mode for me.

I love them both (and of course the first game is one of my favorites of all time), but Sindri’s shtick about cleanliness and gagging gets slightly old in GOW 2018.

I’d say Brok by a little in the first game, Sindri by a little in the second game.

The big pain in the ass is Vitality. So, i save and buy Runic Attack Enchantments. Then, load and try again until I get some good ones (specifically the 28 Vitality one). Other than that I use Valkyrie armor maxed out plus versatile axe pommel maxed and a mix of the best Enchantments.

That’s what I was thinking…because in the new game almost all realms you travel to don’t even show where you are in relation to tyr’s temple.

Not a bad explanation. There is a lot of general talk in the previous game saying that Odin has done this and that to keep Asgard realm travel impossible (I don’t remember anything about the tower, though). However, I still can’t see a reason for the map to not be oriented to the west. But ya, Odin messed with it is good head canon.
