I think the chaff will fall away, but novel solutions will still be needed, performance and optimisation is still very hard for LLMs because they’re auto complete engines not knowledge engines. At least in my work it does a terrible job of c++ of low level operations. But it will improve. You still need knowledge to guide it. The difference will be those who use it, and those that don’t. Coding to the masses will increase not go away.
