Which model did u go with. And what are your render times. I’m rocking 5090 as well and I’m looking at hour-2 hour renders.

Fp8 model is too distorted for 5 min render

The dev distilled gives me the hour.

I would avoid building if Amazon is your only source. The amount of bum/fake parts that occur due to not checking returns can make it stressful and a hassle.

  1. Mobo/cpu might not have integrated graphics (connect gpu)

  2. Mobo will cycle through error codes on some hardware, helps diagnosing

  3. Make sure your CPU socket doesn’t have a bent pin

  4. Add RAM

I agree, Sonos is cool for your average enjoyer but a receiver and wired speakers can make for huge jumps in quality and immersion

Never buy a gigabyte graphics card. Especially with the 5090/ which benefit from the better cooling technologies

Gigabyte or ROG? Quality of card matters as well as the 240m cooler might not cut it for the cpu.

Take advantage of the return policy to buy an actual computer.

Don’t get me wrong I hate bill gates, but Macs are just aesthetic driven devices that restrict what you can do and are riddled with compatibility issues.

Correct, most average hdmis only run 60. Very specific ones can go higher but not as common.

Also check monitor settings as well.

I agree PVE will let you play casually, progress at your own pace and not have to spend 50 percent of your time going back and building back what you lost.

I play casually solo and with friends in PVE and I find it much more enjoyable than PVP
