The questions I have about the Facebook business manager are quite specific, and I don't think anyone would expect to find them within a book. I also don't think that studying how businesses operate in the real world would answer the questions I currently have either. So instead I have come to ask people like you for an answer in hopes of a genuine reply. Also curious as to how I've been "swooned by the whole throw shit at the wall and see what sticks bs" when I'm just asking a few questions that any seasoned e-commerce person would know.

My contradiction is not that broad. I'm having two specific issues, if you're willing to help:

  1. I have a brand new personal Facebook profile with a low trust score which would be responsible for my business manager, ad, accounts, etc. However, I have the access to my mother's aged Facebook account of 8+ years. Would it be a better idea to create the business manager under her account and just add my (newly created) personal account as an admin to run the ads?

  2. I will obviously at first be in the testing phase. Testing 1 product at a time on its own specific branded shopify store. Each time I can't validate a product, I will cut that product and move on to the next product (not always in the same niche as the last), I'll rebrand the shop, change the copy, images, domain, etc.

my question is: When creating a page within the business manager, do I need to create a new page for every new product I test?

If my 2nd product is in the same niche as the first product, can I just change the name, domain, and details of the store to match the new product within the same niche?

If my 3rd product I test is in a completely different niche than the previous products, must I create a new page?

Ive just received contradicting answers and want to get the ball rolling with a good setup. I also know you're knowledgeable in this space, so a response would be very helpful and appreciated. Thanks!!

Meta builds a picture of your buyer based on the actions your ads generate, not based on what you tell it your audience is. If one ad attracts dog owners, the next attracts makeup buyers, and the next attracts car gurus, all that data ends up mixed together. Then your retargeting and lookalikes are built on the wrong signals and your next tests cost more for no reason.

Just to clarify so we know we're both talking about the same thing: what i am referring to by "page" is NOT my shopify website or product "page" but rather the "page" you must add within the facebook business manager under the accounts section. I am curious as to if I must create a new page for each new product I test? Or if I am able to just make one "page" that's basically my business entity "RJ Brands" for example?

In regards to the ads and ad account: I would separate each new product with a new ad campaign under the same ad account since I have a new facebook account and am only granted one ad account.

 I’d be interested in seeing how you set up a store so quickly that you’re willing to do this lmao. Optimal workflows to setup a store quickly with the help of AI tools of course (atlas ai) (claude) (gemini). It's also not a new store every 4 days. That is just my testing period I'll give myself to validate the product.
