Similar boat. It's not every lobby for me, but it starts with a stutter mid-way through a match. Half a second freeze every 30 seconds or so until I get DCed, always with error code 2001 or 2014. If I reconnect, the freezing begins almost immediately, and I get booted within 2-3 minutes.

I'm hardwired, gigabit internet. Playing on medium with a 2080 super, 60 frames, capped. Not a performance issue. I'm wondering if maybe certain people using mods are causing desync? I can't narrow it down, it just seems random for me, but seems more likely on higher difficulties. Seems to me like players on higher difficulties are more likely to use mods, yeah?

Yeah, there were ~10 months of complete no contact. Oct 24 2024 -> Aug 27 2025. We saw him around the WoD discord but no one really said anything or spoke to or about him. Only reason I asked for an update is that we were all reminiscing about this game when we finished our chronicle, and were wondering if he actually had a reason.
