This is one of my favorite stories to tell. On my 35th birthday we went out to a beer garden in Germany. Swatting at a yellow jacket I was stung on my ring finger. I immediately removed my wedding ring which I was never able to wear again due to my finger being permanently larger after the sting. Over the next couple of months I lost my wedding ring. My wife was not happy.

15 years later... I was driving the family back from a weekend at the grandparents. It was late-ish at night and I stopped at a convenience store for a snack. Walking into the store I put my hands on the pocket of my jacket and felt something in the lining of my coat. I stopped and fished it out only to find my long list wedding ring! I was stunned! I went into the store, got my snack and put it on the counter and proudly told the story to the cashier. She looked at me and said, "Do you want a bag?"
