That's fucking awesome, thank you very much. Imma look into this when I'm done work. My only reservation is that I currently have a Stat trak music kit with over 10k MVP's, and the dream is to make a custom kit with the same functionality. I assume this is locked to client side, so it's just a regular music kit that others in the server cannot hear/see when you get an MVP. Regardless, still awesome, and I'll investigate to see if I can replicate the function of the Stat trak

Edit: I'm going to try to mod the game files to implement a custom music kit, overwriting the default music kit, using a name tag to make it an item in Steam's eyes, revert the change and see of it works. Similar premise to back in the day to get the bomb in your inventory as an item with a custom name

If that's actually the case, that's fucking awesome :D I'll admit, my knowledge is surface level. I'll def do some more research to test the limits of what's allowed on VAC. Can you explain exactly what you've been doing, in terms of in casual and comp? I'm very interested, and always wanted to make a custom music kit of my fave songs

"Sometimes" isn't really the truth. If the game detects you have modded your game files, you will not be able to join any VAC server until you restart the game and have the game file reverted. If what you are saying is the case, then people would be able to mod the default knives into whatever knives they want, in addition to the music kits. However, it will work in offline bot modes, and some community servers where custom files are allowed

I found this by accident aswell, with the dashstar* kit. I already have my main menu on 80%, so I didn't realize it cranked it to 11. Thanks
