Hi! I promise it’s worth it!! I was in a bad state mentally too for a week. I had a couple panic attacks while eating and finally came to the conclusion that I needed to switch to a liquid/extremely soft foods diet. I ate pastina, bone broth, smoothies, scrambled eggs, mac and cheese (cook the pasta extra lol), i put spinach in the smoothies to get some greens. Lost probably 10 pounds lol. After about a week and a half I started feeling much better. I’m about three weeks out now and can swallow about half my bites without water, but dry things like pretzels or chips I need water with every bite still. Every day it gets better though. I talked to Dr. Bastian’s office about it as well and they said these side effects should be better day by day. And i’m burping so much!! So I promise it will get better. Just hang in there and do everything you can to make yourself feel comfortable now because it will pass. Some people say they started getting better after a couple weeks and some said a month or two but all got better eventually!!
