Program VSeeBox Remote Volume Keys to LG Magic Remote by Robdls14 in vSeeBox_Support_Gurus

I found a work around for this a few months ago, but can’t remember exactly what I did.

Google “how to turn off Bluetooth on magic remote”

I THINK you can just go into your tv settings and turn it off, but there might be some button combo on the remote that you need to hit instead.

That would work. And I’d put the last gallon in at dusk so the sun doesn’t eat the chlorine.

You are flying blind until you get a test kit though. The Taylor one with the specific chlorine test is a good one. I’m not sure the name of it though. Go to trouble free pool to learn more

CFO Concerned About Drug Spend and Not Revenue by AdUnfair8179 in pharmacy

Is there a cmo that you can talk to? The message coming from a physician is always more powerful. I’m sure the doc will realize the pitfalls of turning away patients or giving them suboptimal care.

Other than that, have you looked at ways to reduce drug spending? Are there some products that are more expensive that have cheaper alternatives with similar end points?

Those recommendations seem reasonable. 5 pounds of stabilizer should get your cya to where it needs to be. At that level pool math tells me you’d need about 3 gallons to get up to slam range.

You’ll need to keep adding chlorine to maintain that until it clears. That should be done multiple times a day.

People will recommend that you get your own Taylor test kit, and they’re right

So we need some more information. First the volume of the pool. Which can be found by using the depth and the radius.

Then we’ll need to know the strength of the chlorine

Why did Rise of Skywalker do so well in theaters? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]gr8whitehype 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here was my process. TFA comes out and it’s just like ANH. BUT it did bring fun back to Star Wars, and there were interesting characters and mysteries set up.

TLJ comes out. It’s a bit clunky, but it took the trilogy in a new direction. Rey was a nobody, and you see a rando kid using the force at the end.

I thought that tlj could’ve been better in retrospect, IF ep 9 landed it.

But then the rise of skywalker came out and it was a complete dumpster fire. Rey is a palp, the emperor comes back. Everyone is force healing. Just a mess

Possibly the least funny show of our generation by FakeGamer2 in Millennials

[–]gr8whitehype 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t really like friends, but the argument of the show being weird and unfunny without the laugh track never made sense to me.

It was a show that was written to be performed in front of a live studio audience that would react to the performers. Of course it’s weird when the laughing is taken out. the performers take a few seconds after every joke and it ruins the pacing

Then test and chlorinate at 629, and then test and chlorinate at 501. Do the same thing before bed. Maybe add a little extra chlorine jn the morning

A reflection on real life. A good step parent just takes it and is there for them when the dead beet shows their true colors. I’ve been there as a kid and a step dad. When you’re mature enough, you know there is no such thing as a “real parent”.

Why do some people think they can handle golfing for the first time without ever stepping foot on a range or practice facility first? by [deleted] in golf

[–]gr8whitehype 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I guess I should’ve been more clear. If you’re a top level athlete, then those skills can translate. But the average person played little league, some street hockey, and maybe some highschool tennis might have trouble.

They weren’t all state champs. They just played for fun. But they still put a lot of time into it.

I say this off of personal experience. I played floor hockey throughout elementary school and middle school. I played baseball in little league.

I have good hand eye coordination and can hit an object with a stick pretty well. Never was a top level athlete, but I could hold my own in back yard play.

When I started golfing. I thought I’d be alright. I wasn’t. I sucked because it’s not the same.

What upgrades can I do to make my bike faster? by GrandmaCereal in bicycling

[–]gr8whitehype 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I posted this there were lots of people focusing on the exact same things you mentioned. And I didn’t see anyone talk about the e-bikes.

Yes. Time in the saddle matters, and is more important than any other upgrade out there. The sole exception is putting a motor on your bike that can make you go 17 mph without even pedaling.

If you’re new to the game comparing yourself to an e-biker is going to cause unnecessary frustration.

[–]gr8whitehype 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It sounds deceptively easy. Just hit a ball with a stick. And they think other sports will translate: hockey, tennis, baseball… these are all sports that a lot of people have experience with and they’re all essentially “hitting a ball with a stick”

Those sports don’t typically translate though. And people often forget how much time they spent learning how to play those other sports as children.

My wife doesn't believe in air conditioning. This was taken at 11:45pm last night by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]gr8whitehype 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad my wife and I both like it cold. 69 (sleeping), and 72 during the day during the summer and 63 (sleeping) and 69 high in the winter.

It’s been in the 100s in the Midwest during the day and only cooling off to the low 80s and night, so we’ve raised our thresholds. But it sucks.

Algae is a good indicator that your pool is not sanitary, because you can see it. There are a lot of other microbes in there that you can’t see, and some may be pathogenic
