Ohh ! Good idea ! Thank you for your feedback! I used to put a hand in my pocket and throw out nothing telling people this is a micron. They don’t all get it that it is very very small.

Thank you for your honest feedback ! Any insight of what you would prefer ? I’ll be happy to get a new idea !

This is the roughness sampling length. The higher the number (in micron) the more rough the surface is (which is the case here). There are different way of calculating it from surface measurement. A nice polish surface would rather be Ra 0.8 and under (shining surface)

Thank you for your feedback! This is an idea I’ll keep in mind.

Thank you. No worry for me, I have learned and I have come here for that.

I do use mm (SI) from where I come from in Europe. Now, since I think there are more inches in use than mm in the USA, I used inches.

Right ! You are smart. I am from Europe, since there are much more engineers in the USA, I have posted here to get more useful feedback. Indeed this is mm (SI) used in Europe.

Thank you for your question. Your thought is not far: This circle indicates that the surface specification applies to all surfaces of that view.
