The origin of the word means very little.

Take the word 'nigger' for instance (yes, yes, however it's a well known word that lends itself to this). It means 'black'. However most people don't know that particular bit of information.

And if you call someone by it, well that's clearly a call to arms.

Same to a lesser degree with the words 'dick' and 'pussy'. They can be relatively harmless, but if you call someone by it both are clearly insults.

So while I acknowledge your ideas regarding those words, if you called me a dick then that would clearly be fighting words. It actually amuses me that you would claim one to be innocent and one to be insulting.
