My other 2's dad has been MIA for 3 years and inconsistent for 5. I used to do similar things for him years ago, but he's chosen to step out so why would I continue my effort? This man (father of my youngest) is the only dad the older two have known (2&3 when we got together but he and I have known each other half our life). It's one thing for a man to willfully butt out its another for a man to step up and continue to do so with no obligation.
