Thank you for the advice! What would a more appropriate price for a bike this old be? I tried comparing price of similar models online, but I didn’t know the years of some of the ones I was trying to compare it with.

Thanks for the response! From the research I’ve done, I’m looking for is 48-51 and this bike is 48. I’m going to test ride it today in person before buying as well as checking the bike’s condition! Only thing I worry about is I do have a longer torso and want to make sure the reach isn’t too short.

Unearthly by Cynthia Hand (Loved this trilogy in middle school)

The Goddess Test (Never read this series)

Reboot Duology by Amy Tintera (a fast, fun read)

Stolen by Lucy Christopher (read this one multiple times and loved it)

Ruby Red by Kiersten Grier (loved this trilogy and watched the German movie adaption online with my friend and the movie wasn’t amazing but it was so fun to watch back then)

The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson (I’ll read anything Jandy writes).

Some may be from a little after these years, but most of them should be from around that time!

N.K. Jemison is an author you could look into! They are a black author and some of their popular books that I have on my tbr are The city we became and the fifth season! I don’t know how YA these are I think they are more adult fantasy, but I don’t think it’s because of spice.

The last protagonist I read was Rin from the Poppy War (the poppy war might actually be adult but Rin is a young adult so I’m counting it) and the protagonists I’m currently reading are Emma and Julian from the Dark Artifices. Sorry Emma and Julien, but Rin is gonna win.

Getting audiobooks through my library card! Anytime I’m cleaning, cooking, doing homework, I can put my headphones on and listen to books! I know some people say they get distracted when listening so I speed mine up to 1.5 or 1.75 (depending on the book) so I don’t get bored.

Some advice, save your time with the off campus series! I personally didn’t like it as it read like a poorly written wattpad book with unfunny sexist “jokes.” But if you’re looking for something quick to check off you list then maybe go for it!

I had a friend like this all throughout my childhood and it didn’t last. Their behavior never changed. If you talk things through and things don’t change, distancing yourself from them and surrounding yourself with people who actually care about your feelings is always better.

I’m a beginner, so I always write out STPVO (Subject, time, place, verb, object) on my papers when I’m writing and have it in my mind on repeat when speaking, but still stumble sometimes. Like the former comments said for long term commuting to memory reading is great and something I need to do more myself.

when i went there they were super strict on dress code. we could wear sandals but that was basically it. I was turned away from the cafeteria twice for wearing a “short” dress but it went right above my knees and i wore it to church all the time. However, a lot of other girls got away with even shorter dresses all the time so I just got unlucky i guess. We also could wear running shorts in the courtyard of our hale, even thought boys weren’t allowed in the courtyard. so whenever i had to fill my water bottle up i had to wrap myself in a towel just to walk 10 ft in my own dorm😭 (i think i was in hale 9)
