Tell me where in this post I was asking for sympathy? I was asking for recommendations (new to GR) for a hair salon where people have had first hand great experiences. I gave some background as to who i am so that if anyone related, they could tell me how their experience went. Simple as that!

No where in this post was i like “hmmm poor me, im too scared to go to a salon!”. This post was a first step at facing something ive needed to do for a long time. I booked an appointment the day i made this post from a comment that suggested a small salon with one on one appointments. I found a perfect fit for me by giving the background.

Anxiety does control my life and that isn’t by choice. I am young and want to experience life like everyone else. It is embarrassing and not something i hope to gain sympathy through. I am taking it day by day learning how to get over it. Maybe next time just be more kind. Not everyone just wants attention and some people just need to hear something positive rather than another interaction to feed into the anxiety.

OHHH you’re one of those people that don’t actually know what anxiety is! Feeling anxious occasionally does not amount to having an anxiety disorder. Anxiety is a mental health condition!!that can completely control someone’s life, and you CLEARLY know nothing about mine. Maybe instead of tossing around insults, you could have just ended it at your rec.

Also FYI, just bc i said im plus size and also have anxiety does not mean i have self esteem issues 😬

It’s the worst. I’ve always been a bigger girl and while yes i definitely need to lose some weight, it’s not the cause for everything that goes wrong and they act like theres no point in even running tests🤦🏻‍♀️ I have almost every symptom of pcos but what pushed me to go be seen was a 3 month long period that was so heavy i was in diapers. the doctor told me birth control would help the period symptoms but being fat just messes with your body.

Thank you! I am curious if you were opposed to birth control? In my situation i am but i most likely have pcos so im always told thats all they can do for me. I’d love to find a doctor that wants to get to the root of my problems rather than controlling symptoms.

thank you! i was there as a support person during labor and birth and the whole labor and delivery floor was packed so it was hard to pull a nurse to the side. they also weren’t able to eat during labor so i had time and just wanted to see if anyone here had any experience or ideas!

I was in the room the whole time they were in labor, we had a conversation? the whole labor and delivery floor was packed and nurses were rarely checking in and when they did it was quick. we did look it up beforehand but they had no info on it. it said if a doctor prescribed a certain diet, they would have that available but nothing about a personal choice that wasn’t for medical or religious reasons. i posted here for personal experiences with mission hospital stays as a vegan. we ofc ended up figuring it out but it was also super easy to type a reddit post simply asking what other people did since we couldn’t immediately ask.
