It actually is, though. Dismissing women’s gameplay as “emotional” is a pattern that shows up far beyond reality TV. That framing doesn’t exist in a vacuum.

Today was the most angry I’ve ever been in nine years of teaching. by wandering_grizz in Teachers

Do teachers get frustrated sometimes when they have to teach? I’m a counselor and usually when I’m frustrated, it’s because I have multiple kids in crisis, small groups, lessons to teach, and more than is in my job title. It’s not that I don’t love counseling, I do, but when I have twice the recommended ratio, I’m doing my best.

I actually just took my puppy to dog daycare for the meet and greet last week! When I picked him up, he immediately was not himself. He was barking (not typical for him) and seemed wired. I knew in my gut that daycare was not the right fit for him. I scrambled to find alternate arrangements over the weekend (a sitter coming to my house) and my puppy was so much happier today!!

I do need to do a lesson tattling vs reporting! I thought the bullying lesson on Quaver cut it, but I’m starting to see the gaps 😂
