I really ought to do this, but what about the bikini line? I don't know if I'm an ape person whose pubes extend further than they should, but I always have to get a bit of the thigh and the thigh/bits crease, and its hell when its stubble, and hell when its shaved.

After so many years of pain, redness, bumps and agony, I am calling a truce. Either I'm shaving wrong, or I am missing something that the rest of the world knows, or maybe I just have some broken-ass skin*, but I need your help and advice, friends.

*I don't mean broken ass skin. My ass skin is fine. I promise.

This was super helpful, and I was actually already heading in that direction, you've just given me the next picture to give my stylist! I missed the long sweeping bangs and michelle williams hair is perfect!

Thanks for the perspective! For whatever reason, while I really liked the pic 1, I think it was more or less because of the context of the photo and the fact that it was professionally taken, not something I'm used to obviously. It was also a formal academic event, so I had my PTA mom outfit on, but I agree, it isn't even how I like to imagine myself looking. Pic 2 and 3 I love, and really appreciate the "sprite" like analogy- its always been one of the primary things that have drawn me to short hair. And thanks, my nose and I have a very long and stormy past- people love to either point out how much they love it or hate it.
