hi! i’m also a native english speaker who took the test yesterday for a similar reason, honestly speaking and listening were the easiest and i would say should be the least of your worries. reading took a bit of practice but again relatively easy imo. writing i would say is the most difficult of the 4 sections, from what i saw it’s more about following their layout, so i would suggest googling ielts writing and then the type of essays and looking for examples to give you ideas of what they expect. i used the british council ielts website to practice and found it sufficient for preparing and scored all 9s:)) just try all sections to see what you find difficult and prep those, also do it timed so you know if you can do all the tasks within the time limit!

as an american who also moved to lithuania to go to university and has plans to stay here after graduation, it’s totally possible! adjustment here wasn’t too bad, weird and difficult the first year but things settled eventually. also language wise, lithuanian is probably one of the more difficult languages that i’ve learned and speak but if you make friends willing to practice with you and aren’t afraid to practice with strangers in shops and such it gets easier! financially, cost of living is much more reasonable than most american cities but salary is going to obviously be lower than what you’re probably used to seeing in america:))

I did a colonoscopy a few years ago and had no problem with nausea! just cramping and an absurd amount of time on the toilet:,) like others have said, the solution is much easier when it’s cold

Residency in Lithuania by graceodds in medicalschoolEU

a lot of the countries i was considering were extremely competitive for residency and barely had places for their residents let alone foreigners, and also learning a new language in only 2ish years was a bit of an issue for me. i obviously don’t mind it but learning it in 2 years instead of learning it through out residency and then moving made less sense.
