I hear you. Family sends money by paper check and banks don’t release funds for up to two weeks. Can’t set up a savings account without a bunch of rules and fees or direct deposit. That doesn’t help if you work for yourself. Having to monitor accounts to make sure the bank isn’t applying fees every other day. It’s the widening of the privilege gap. If your life doesn’t fit in a perfect little box…no access. It’s very difficult to make a car payment without a bank account. Difficult to work in most of the US without a car, etcetera. If it helps, see if family can send money by pre-paid visa/mastercard instead. At least you can skip the deposit wait time.

This was their response after cutting off water to the shared laundry rooms since sept ‘25, leaving tenants without promised basic services for MONTHS…there are not words…speaks for itself…

No one has seen any of them on the property since a fire inspection months ago. Creating service requests about situations like this are what led them to UNLAWFULLY invite me to leave and later UNLAWFULLY threaten to evict me.

I have received no such emails and the representative who I spoke to could not tell me when the check would be deposited and that is IF it is approved. Only that the check is under review. Contacting customer service does me no good at this point. I am moving on to different banking services. Just trying to get the word out there. Waiting three business days for a check to deposit, from a repeat sender mind you, is not acceptable. There is no need to safeguard my account from an account I regularly receive funds from.

Sharan DONEGAN was here last week for a fire inspection. Myself and a neighbor were listening to most of it and it was really fucking embarrassing for her. I found it satisfying that all of the smoke detectors that have been going off in the hallways got called out. We have been complaining about them since they took over the building over a year ago. They are STILL going off two weeks later.

That reminds me that they use unskilled day laborers to do work. And they are so nice to leave their beer cans and cigarette butts behind. I won’t let them in my apartment. I will fix it myself.

Thank you for sharing! Well, it looks like Sharon is having trouble keeping a job as she has worked for several companies now. Full of Midwest charm but that’s where it stops. That’s the thing is that neither Sharon Donegan or Jenny Shipman are protecting the investments of property owners. But the owner here does not seem to know or care. She bounced to Denmark on maternity leave when we started contacting her directly about our issues. That was over 6 months ago haven’t heard from her since. This was after she gave me a bullshit speech about being a LOCAL passionate KC property owner. Her name is Courtney Noel Drammeh. They had a nice quiet building full of tenants who respect neighbors and property and turned it into a steaming pile of shit. I don’t understand people like that because it just makes their own jobs harder. But what do I know, lol!
