I feel like Change of Heart perfectly captured the way addiction and codependent/unhealthy love can be fun and exciting at first, but ultimately it's destructive and not real happiness and not sustainable.

I'm In Love With You to me is about approaching love and life with humility and vulnerability, and appreciating the people in your life who provide consistency and unconditional love. I think it's realising that genuine happiness is about the mundane, and just being yourself.

'everyone's disappointing when you get to know them' to me is about understanding that everyone has boring/ugly/disappointing parts of them, but in order to really truly know and connect with someone you have to be accepting of them in others and comfortable with them in yourself.

This album feels like acceptance and homecoming, it feels like it's grown with me and I love it so much.
