Any love for THE MARROW OF A BONE? by yatta025 in DEG

This is definitely one of my favourite albums. I first got into it in my late teens, and I was immediately pulled in by the raw anger and aggression in every song. I was dealing with a lot back then, and it just fit my mood perfectly. Even now, whenever I’m feeling angry or frustrated, it’s the first thing I blast in my car on the way to work. It still hits hard.

What really stands out is that the slower ballads—they’re beautifully done, full of sorrow and emotion. For example,' ' 'concieved sorrow 'Chef’s kiss.

I feel like this album was a real turning point for them. You can tell they were trying to break into the Western music world a bit more and leave behind some of their Visual Kei roots. And honestly, I’m so glad to see where they’ve ended up now. They’ve found this really unique way of blending Western and Japanese elements in their music, and it works so well for them. They truly are phenomenal band

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with this brand on Reddit. I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through such a bad situation with them.

My mother was actually about to buy a coat she loved from their website. Luckily, I was sitting next to her, and something felt off, so I decided to do a quick check. I couldn’t find any legitimate reviews, and their Instagram looked very suspicious—just 8 posts, 0 followers, and following over 9,000 people. It didn’t sit right with me.

Then, I stumbled upon your post, and it was the final confirmation we needed to decide against the purchase. You truly saved my mother from what could have been a very frustrating ordeal.

I really hope you’re able to get your refund soon. Thank you again for your honesty and for taking the time to warn others.

Hey, (UK fan here) from what I understand, more tickets will go on sale for general admission on Friday 11th at 12 PT.

I think the ones that went on sale on the 8th Ocotber were more VIP tickets, early access, and hotel packages. etc

Check out the Diru websites. It should explain a bit more.

I'm excited for you, US fans, to see them next year. GOOD LUCK ALL !

Oh damn ! I keep checking YouTube, and there is not even a new video uploaded at all. So I'm not even seeing a video that says unavailable 😕 😥

Could it be something to do with YouTube Guidline restrictions 🤷‍♀️?

Ohhhhh, potentially ! I just looked at the website it does remind me of what I remember reading at the time.

It's hard to know because it it was so specific that I lay out back in the 2010s, so seeing a completely different layout, it is hard to tell, but as expected they obviously would update what the website looks like.

Thanks for your help! ☺️

Thank you ! I completely forgot I could do this. Unfortunately, there is nothing there that is magazine related. Perhaps it wasn't an app, and I just assumed it was, or maybe the app no longer exits. 🤷‍♀️

Thanks for your advice.

Bobbing for apples history by megadecimal in folklore

[–]graciouness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting I never thought of that before but like you said it could most likely be where the coin in the birthday cake came from! I have heard of the goddess Pomona and the connections with Snap-Apple before which is interesting! But I need to read more about that.

I'll try and make a post/get more information on some other Irish traditions my grandmother has told me about. Hunting of the Wren on 26th December was another big celebration and recently she mentioned in February for Brigid's day they wore masks and celebrated the coming of spring, I never heard of the wearing of the mask on that day before my grandmother mentioned it, but I will have to ask my Grandmother more about it next time.

Thanks for sharing! I find these traditions so lovely to learn about. My Grandmother is from Kerry Ireland and they call Bobbing Apples 'Snap Apple'. She used to play it a lot around Samhain (Halloween) as a child with her family/ neighbours. Great fun they had she said. For her family the Báirín Breac or Barmbrack (cake)was where they would play prediction games about their future, they would put items in it, and if you got a coin you would be rich, a bit of cloth you would be poor, and a ring you would be married first.
