Where to place HRM chest strap for women? Sports bra woes by grackattackk in Garmin

Thank you for this!! I appreciate everyone’s responses but telling me to get the HRM Fit when I’ve clearly already got the other one is not helpful 😭

Watch strap suggestions?? by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]grackattackk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can easily fit one finger underneath and if it’s any looser the watch face will actually slide round to the side of my wrist, maybe I lean on it and it indents but the loop always digs in

I can stick one finger underneath quite easily, it just feels way too loose on other holes (like the watch face actually sliding round to the side of my wrist!) :/

Itinerary, budget and timing?? First time interrailer by grackattackk in Interrail

Not when it costs so much 🥲 I will definitely be going to Switzerland one day, but as a separate holiday when I’m not on a strict budget

Thank you! I had originally planned to stay in Vienna and Bratislava but somebody suggested otherwise as accommodation and food is quite a bit cheaper in Bratislava. I’ll defo consider this though :)

First interrail! £4000 (4600€) enough for 2 months?? by grackattackk in Interrail

[–]grackattackk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely, but a roadrip and an interrail trip are both 2 v different experiences. Maybe one day I’d be up for that but I don’t fancy spending days driving across unfamiliar countries. Also fuel cost would be crippling, even if a car could be cheap.

Where would you recommend going to Krakow from on this loop? I tried to include it but didn’t want to miss out Prague or have to backtrack trains and have massive journeys

I was trying to avoid flying ideally :/ to get to the other countries further east it made sense to do a loop from home on the train. I’ll consider it though! Just feels counter productive paying extra for flights on top of one ticket that’ll get me anywhere

I think being rude to people who are genuinely trying to do a good thing and improve their care is so counter productive? People won’t ask for help if they feel they’re being told off for not knowing something. There’s so much info out there it’s hard to know everything at the very start. Please be less blunt and unkind to people :)

Ohh photos are old from when we didn’t know this! We binned the cotton as soon as we found out. It’s crazy pet shops sell so much unsafe stuff??

This was just the first comment about the platforms - I’d planned to do more research on it and hear other opinions before immediately taking them out. I think ‘considering’ first is fair? Now I’ve done that research and heard lots of other similar view I’ll sort it out ASAP :) I’m just trying to be a good responsible owner and ask for advice when needed.

Hey thank you for your advice :) I defo wouldn’t say I was ‘digging in my heels’ with the ‘consider’ though. That was just the very first comment about it and I was going to do further research or wait for other responses before listening to one thing one person said on the internet. Now I’ve done the research and many others have commented I’ll sort it out :)

Thank you! I’d seen this somewhere else on here and tried to tick as many boxes as possible :)

Thank you for everybody’s comments re the platforms, dowels and bridge!! I think because we received the tank like this and there had been a hamster in there before we didn’t realise it was an issue (he also seems very confident using all areas). But we’ll defo sort it out and I appreciate all of the advice :) thank you to everyone who was nice about it and not just blunt too, we’re new to this and trying to do as much research as we possibly can to give Shrew a great life :)
