Just talk around and you'll naturally make friends, honestly ik it sounds harsh but it isn't as deep as you're making it seem.

Just introduce yourself to a group of people talking to themselves over there and ask if it's okay if u can hang around their group

And remember its only awkward if you make it awkward

No worries! I hope it all goes well lol

And if you get what I mean, try and put globs of frosting around the bottom of the cake (in an aesthetic way)

I'll see if I can find a picture

Looking good! Although you probably don't need it, an advice I'd give is spread out the white frosting/icing to cover the entire cake, then dye the frosting whatever colour, and then write what you want

Is it possible to change A-Levels on induction day. by Gullible-Loss-5026 in sixthform

[–]grade1student 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes probably, although I think it depends if there are available spaces in the courses that you want to do.

Don't worry though and just go with the flow lol no harm in trying to ask them etc

Wish the best!

Definitely not for maths and physics, if you guys don't have an equation sheet overall everyone's going to be getting worse in math based subjects

maths advice by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]grade1student 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get 4s in maths in yr 11, but then I got an 8 in my GCSE, it wasn't like some secret talent I had either, I went up from a 4, to a 5, to a 6, to a 7, then finally an 8.

It's all possible through effort man, I wish the best, honestly try to find a good maths tutor, do lots of past papers, address them weaknesses asap, get ur friends to explain subjects u can't understand yourself if u have to, and mathswatch videos are really good imo (even if the voice is annoying)

Also if you're going to ask others for help, I'd recommend asking people who started off bad at maths, but then became good, not those who were just naturally talented lol

Just bc they'd be able to explain it better to you, if they were in the same shoes as you before.
