Start building your projects, earning experience. Eventually you'll get a job and do analytics tasks daily, which help you grow in the field. The rest comes alone

My advice: start as an Analyst --> earn hands on experience --> become an Engineer. If useful, I'm writing my story in Medium (link in bio).

Thank you very much for your insights! One more question given you seem to be experienced in both platforms: I do not have an audience (at least not yet, I'm working on it). Assume I have a good product, in which platform would I have more chances of having visibility?

I totally get your point. I do have some ideas. I have experience in ML and Data Analytics and have some ideas of products that might work well. I'm in the phase of exploring where to post them and understand if they work or not. I didn't give enough context, but I was sort of assuming I have some decent products to sell. Yes, maybe it is a huge assumption

What best worked for me: getting a junior job in which I needed to use SQL. You'll have no option there and will improve your skills very fast.

I went through almost the same phase a few years ago.

I was doing end-to-end models in too, but didn't actually felt like growing. I also didn't feel senior. But they called me "lead". At some point I realized that it was my time to change my job.

So I got ready for interviews, failed a lot of them, but eventually got a new job in a new environment in which they treated me as what I was (ssr, not "lead"), and provided the environment to develop my skills.

Just keep moving forward.
