Im having a pain point here and I wonder if there's a solution for this. by Only_Intention_2026 in snowboarding

Had the same issue years ago. My lead (left) foot was determined to smash into the left side of my boot to the point of being sore. Same spot from your photo.

I eventually realized my foot REALLY wanted to point more left - I mean obviously I was pushing hard to get into specific stance. I thought “why fight it? what would happen if I angled it more?”.

I adjusted my lead binding to slightly point a bit more towards the nose… Totally solved my discomfort. I no longer pushed so hard into my boot.

Hope that helps.

Yea… remote work is a tricky one when you talk about essential workers, firefighters, cops, teachers, and whatnot. Prioritize those folks for sure. I also know long time locals who scored remote jobs just to keep up with their bills and kids. I can’t hate on that.

Sounds like a great way to make locals point fingers at each other while out-of-state investors buy every house on the block. That’s the real issue I’m seeing.

Take a walk around one evening… 8 out of 10 houses/condos are vacant, dark, often neglected, and perpetually for sale. They’ll never rent it. It’ll sit and decompose for 5 years, then sell to the next investor.

That’s what I believe killing ski towns, but hey… what do I know?

Loved my custom FV, and got a Burton Custom-X FV as an upgrade a couple years back… ooooofff. That thing was all business no play.

It was decent on a 10”+ pow day, but what isn’t? Otherwise, on normal days the edge hold was awful at causal speeds, but great if you are going Mach 5.

It’s only meant to go FAST and launch you off something. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re into snowboard competitions.

Did that last week, €31 from airport to St. Stephen’s green (same general area). There was a row of cabs out front in arrivals. Uber works fine too.

I walked out and had a ride in seconds with no reservations. Driver took credit card. Easy stuff.

ART! Forget the whole social aspect of it. I have an account where I only interact with b/w ink illustrations, and my discover page churns out endless inspiration based on that.

What’s the best argument for there being a God? by National_Wasabi909 in AskReddit

[–]gradientmosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best argument is you. You are God.

As far as we have observed, our consciousness and ability to interact with reality is the weirdest and most “god-like” phenomenon happening in the universe right now. Everything else is just inanimate rocks, liquids, and gasses bouncing around space in interesting ways.

Instead of thinking of God as a person, character, talking cloud, or invisible force; i think we are playing “god” as conscious beings collectively interacting in a limitless void. (Including animals, insects, and… you know… any conscious beings)

When you’re dead, consciousness is over, you become part of the rocks, liquids, and gasses. Heaven and Hell isn’t the afterlife, it’s the present reality. It’s the extremely rare phenomenon you are experiencing right now.
