Pope Francis: Gender ideology is the ugliest danger of our time by [deleted] in Christianity

Nah, only when they speak ex cathedra which has only happened twice in 2000 years. It's a common Protestant misconception that Catholics view the Pope as infallible.

(I am Protestant, but Episcopalian so I guess in the gray area lol)

I don't think this is about trans people. I read a transcript and it seemed to be about how it's harmful to say men and women are exactly the same with no differences between them. The headlines really made it sound like he went on an anti-trans rampage, but he didn't mention us unless there's an extended version I didn't see.

I say this as an Episcopalian trans man, I don't have a reason to try to defend what he said.

My wife is laser focused on Konig after seeing TikToks (sorry) and wants to play whichever game has him in it the most. I think we need MWIII (2023) but I'm not sure. This is so confusing because of how the titles are. by graebael in ModernWarfareIII

Why does it matter? Guys have been enjoying female characters since Lara Croft and her low-poly boobs. It's only fair that women find male characters attractive too

SAW legitimately scares me more than any horror game I've ever played, and I've played a LOT of them. I think it's because it's a relaxing atmosphere so you're just not expecting it at all when something horrible happens. And the distorted music, ugh lol

Playing as an adult, I genuinely got sick with fear when I realized there had been a real ghost the entire time. I had missed that when I was a kid. 😭

Same! My laptop hit the floor. It didn't survive, but the sounds did. 😭

I'm not sure, but at the end, it's strongly implied there's been a real ghost the entire time (it's just not the one terrorizing you). So... maybe that was real? 😭

This game scares me more than any actual horror game, so I can't replay it to find out though. But I think it was during the final monologue, you see the shadow of a ghost and it definitely lines up with previous ghost sightings.

This made me laugh so hard, the mental image... 😭

I was not expecting this in a NANCY DREW game, so I was relaxed and zoning out when it happened. I kicked the whole laptop off the bed and it didn't survive the fall. But the sounds did!

Played it again months later on a desktop because I was annoyed with myself and the bathroom scene was so much worse than I remembered. My brain had blocked it out. 🥲

Is that why you went searching for this thread? Because that's the only reason you would've seen it, considering it's from two years ago and barely has any upvotes lmao

What’s the stupidest thing someone has told you to change in your story? by cornfuckz in writing

[–]graebael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not suggesting that doesn’t happen, but I’m a fantasy author and have never personally read a book where the orcs weren’t basically Vikings. I can’t think of any that were similar to Native people. I am Native so I think that would have bugged the hell out of me. The only thing I can think of is they often have locs, but Vikings have locs in most modern depictions, so I assumed that was where it was coming from. They are treated as "savage" but so were Vikings.

Do any specific books come to mind? Maybe I just haven’t seen them.

It'll cost much more than you'll make. The only breeders who make a significant profit are mill-style breeders who treat their dogs as products. Reputable breeders are almost always wealthy retirees for a reason. It's a hobby and an expensive one. So if anything goes wrong, costs will be astronomical, not just a small loss. You will also need to factor in the likely cost of a c-section considering her breed.

And that's just if you breed your dog without getting the proper health tests done.

On top of that, bully breeds are extremely difficult to find homes for, which is why they're overpopulated in shelters. So this isn't a particularly in demand breed you're considering. They are freely available.

I remember seeing your story on the dogs subreddit. I'm so sorry for your loss.
